2. Reading (29-30 minutes)

3. Listening (30-43 minutes)

In this section the individual is measured based on the ability to comprehend spoken English in different accents, candidates are required to listen to a few recordings and answer questions based on those audios.

Listening section also includes identifying incorrect words, filing in the blanks and summarizing spoken text.

Scoring and Results:

PTE uses a granular scoring which ranges from 10 to 90 points, consisting of separate scores provided for each of the four main skills and enabling skills such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation.
